College has distinguished placement record and it's getting an increase in placement year by year. The placement percentage for this year is being shown in table below:-
Now I will be presenting here the list of companies visited for the placement in recent two years and the intake by them . Salary ranges from 2 to 5.50 lac.
The maximum placement for the academic year 2007-08 was 13 lac with an average salary pay of approx 3 lac .The college has got a lot of reputation in Delhi which can be easily seen from the choices of students for the colleges in CEE in recent years .OUT OF TOP 50 TOPPERS OF CEE
The overall placement of college can be considered as satisfactory . But , As the location of college is highly favorable for the placement , it has not shown any output like which can be termed as "Awesome ". But , it's a new college and it will gain success in recent years . The placement of college will increase in coming time as it's reputation is increasing day by day . So , it's a very good choice for a student who didn't get through IIT's or BITS-Pilani or who is getting a crap branch in these colleges .

Nice post I must say.
I am an oldie and a way back passed out from NSIT. I found your post quite far from reallity. The companies that you have mentioned for NSIT are those who finally noone join after college...Most of the peaople are selcted by Adobe/trilogy/Microsoft/yahoo/freescale/ST Microelectronics and other biggies..and NSIT is known for its placements but the companies you have mentioned in NSIT column are just shit names..
Somehow I feel that your blog does not show the real picture so I thought of throwing some light on the your knowledge database...

As mentioned by the above person, your post is far from reality. And your claim and packages varies from 2 - 5.5 lakhs. Let me tell you that our average package is 5 lakh+.
Check the DATAQUEST IDC Survey 2008, we are 2nd in placements and this survey includes the IITs as well.
I have close ties with the placement committee of NSIT and can say this for sure that we are far better than any other college in north India in placements. Hope you would do some research before posting.

presently companies paying a package of less than 4lpa are not allowed in nsit and average package is around 6lpa overall and around 7-7.5lpa for general category.
