Placement of IIT Hyderabad refers to the on campus job placement assistance provided to the 2007 graduating batch of undergraduate and postgraduate students. This excludes the statistics relating to the ongoing individualized placement assistance being provided to the postgraduate research students.

If you will clearly see the Placement of IIIT Hyderabad of the year 2007 you will find certain points .The Placement seems to be very good with average pay of 5.27 Lac per annum , But we should not overlook the fact that IIIT Hyderabad only has Information technology field to ponder . These branches are the most demanding field in Engineering . So, inspite of such a high average Placement , it is not satisfactory for IIIT Hydrabad .
But As this was the 5th placement of IIIT Hyderabad the no. of companies visited the campus is quite happening and in the recent years it will touch its zenith. All the brand names were present in the campus ranging from google to De shaw. IIIT Hyderabad has developed itself as a pioneered research institute and its stepping its way forward toward its success to become the best research institute if India . I am hoping that placement will become much better in the recent year and it can be a very good choice after IITs. But It has miles to cover to reach the level of IITs.
